Position Overview
We are seeking a Proposal Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in a permanent capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing concepts for products, services, and comprehensive ground or user segments for satellite applications.
- Establishing a network of relationships with clients, potential scientific and industrial collaborators, and colleagues across the OHB Group.
- Contributing to research studies, R&D initiatives, and proposals for space systems, both technical and commercial.
- Coordinating activities such as opportunity scouting, initiating R&D projects, forming industrial partnerships, and managing budget allocations.
- Overseeing the preparation and writing of various types of proposals, including technical, management, implementation, and service proposals.
Qualifications
- A university degree in Space System Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least initial, preferably extensive, professional experience in areas such as system engineering, software development, space system operations, satellite communications, project management, or business development.
- Strong presentation skills for engaging with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to achieving objectives and completing tasks.
- Ability to work independently while acquiring necessary knowledge and skills.
- Strong teamwork capabilities and collaboration with peers.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written, B2 level), with additional proficiency in German preferred.
