Position Overview
We are seeking a Proposal Manager (m/f/d) for a permanent role in our Bremen office.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing concepts for products, services, and comprehensive ground or user segments for satellites.
- Establishing a network of relationships with clients, potential scientific and industrial partners, and colleagues across the OHB Group.
- Contributing to studies, research and development projects, and proposals for space systems, both technical and commercial.
- Coordinating activities such as opportunity scouting, initiating R&D, forming industrial partnerships, and budget management for tasks.
- Overseeing the creation and drafting of various proposal types, including technical, management, implementation, and service proposals.
Qualifications
- A university degree in Space System Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- At least initial, preferably substantial, professional experience in areas such as system engineering, software development, space system operations, satellite communications, project management, or business development.
- Proficient presentation skills for engaging with clients and colleagues.
- A strong motivation to achieve results and complete tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently to acquire necessary knowledge and skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
- Fluency in spoken English and professional writing skills (B2 level); proficiency in spoken German and professional writing skills (B2 level) is preferred.
