Project Manager (m/f/d) for Earth Observation Satellites
In this role, you will join a dynamic and innovative team of space engineers engaged in cutting-edge satellite projects within the Earth Observation sector. We are looking for experienced Project Managers (m/f/d) who are eager to tackle significant challenges and take on the responsibility of overseeing the development and construction of a satellite. Your Responsibilities
Lead a Satellite Project within the Earth Observation domain Establish, manage, and maintain the project team Oversee financial, scheduling, and technical aspects of the project Ensure project targets are met in collaboration with your team Serve as the primary interface for customers and subcontractors Assist in developing proposals for institutional and commercial clients Regularly interact and align with relevant departments Support the pursuit of new opportunities and clients Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative satellite solutions Report to company stakeholdersYour Qualifications
Completed studies in aerospace engineering, relevant engineering discipline, or physics, complemented by economics or relevant experience Strong technical and economic understanding, along with analytical and interpersonal skills Proficient in economic aspects such as cost calculation and control, with the ability to balance quality, cost, and schedule Several years of professional experience in similar roles within B/C/D space projects High sense of responsibility and a solution-oriented mindset Well-organized with excellent communication skills in both German and English Strong teamwork abilities and motivation skills Willingness to learn and expand your expertiseWe Offer
