Job Description

We are seeking a Proposal Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining concepts for products, services, and complete ground segments or user segments for satellites. This will involve creating a network of contacts with customers, potential scientific and industrial partners, and colleagues within the OHB Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners
  • Contribute to studies, R&D projects, and space system proposals
  • Prepare activities such as scouting for opportunities, identifying and initiating R&D, industrial teaming, and budget allocation
  • Coordinate the creation and writing of technical proposals, management proposals, implementation proposals, and service proposals

Requirements

  • University degree in Space System Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering area
  • At least first, preferably profound, professional experience in one of the following areas: system engineering, software development, space system operations, Satcom, project management, business development
  • Capability to present in front of customers and colleagues
  • Motivation to do what is needed to get things done
  • Ability to work independently to gather knowledge and skills required
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with team members
  • Fluency in spoken English and professional in writing (B2), preferably fluency in spoken German and professional in writing (B2)
