Information Security Specialist

At Speira GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Local Information Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the local implementation and compliance with our company's security guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and assist in monitoring information assurance and perform independent analysis of IT system concepts, making recommendations for design and optimization.
- Facilitate the assessment and approval process for information security policies and procedures.
- Conduct basic information security training for new employees onboarding at the plant.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and analyze system security requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
- Identify and communicate technical risks and mitigation strategies, as well as develop and maintain security documentation.
- Assist in finalizing documentation and implementing information security requirements and controls for IT systems in accordance with the Risk Management Framework.
- Act proactively to prevent potential disaster situations at the local site and assist in assessing local information security incidents.
- Diligently conduct and complete annual reviews and audits in accordance with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements.
- Degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of information security.
- Careful, responsible, structured, and team-oriented way of working.
- Very good English skills and very good knowledge of the local language (German or Norwegian).
