Information Security Specialist

Xcede is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Serve as the primary point of contact for information security-related inquiries and provide expert advice to stakeholders
* Continuously monitor legal and regulatory changes, as well as technological advancements to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies
* Develop and maintain information security guidelines, instructions, and concepts to ensure compliance with industry standards
* Conduct regular security assessments and provide reporting to management to ensure compliance with security standards
* Identify, analyze, and evaluate potential security risks and threats to our information assets
* Supervise the implementation of security measures at our bank and service providers
* Coordinate and respond to information security incidents, including serious payment security incidents in accordance with PSD2
* Manage projects related to information security independently, based on experience

**Requirements:**

* Strong interest in technological advancements and regulatory requirements in information security
* Extensive technical and practical knowledge of international and national standards and regulations in information security
* Fluency in German and proficiency in English
* Completed technical or economic studies successfully
* Banking knowledge and initial experience in leading small teams are advantageous
