Information Security Specialist

Xcede is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to play a key role in protecting our organization's information assets.
Key Responsibilities- Information Security Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact for information security inquiries, providing timely and effective responses to ensure the security and integrity of our organization's information assets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and stay up-to-date on legal and regulatory changes, as well as technological advancements, to inform strategic decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Security Guidelines and Awareness: Develop and enhance guidelines, instructions, and concepts for information security, promoting a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
- Compliance Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and reporting to management to ensure compliance with information security standards.
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and evaluate risks and threats to information security, recommending mitigation strategies to minimize potential risks.
- Incident Response: Coordinate information security incidents, including serious payment security incidents, and report to regulatory authorities as required.
- Project Management: Manage projects related to information security independently, leveraging experience and expertise to drive results.
- Training and Development: Coordinate and conduct sensitization and training programs on information security, promoting a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
- Technical Expertise: Possess extensive technical and practical knowledge of international and national standards and regulations in information security.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills.
- Education and Experience: Completed technical or economic studies successfully, with a strong academic background and initial experience in leading small teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Possess a keen interest in technological advancements and regulatory requirements in information security, with a passion for staying up-to-date.
