Senior Sales Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Senior Sales Operations Manager to represent our business unit to clients in a highly professional and ethical manner, showcasing our leadership in component and systems technology.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary representative of the business unit to clients, ensuring a professional and ethical approach while promoting our leadership in component and systems technology.
  • Oversee a team to achieve our objectives related to growth, profitability, EVA, market share, investment initiatives, and product leadership for designated clients.
  • Lead global commercial negotiations for assigned clients, ensuring alignment with annual goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market dynamics, including developments from clients and competitors, and relay pertinent information to the appropriate Product Business Director for integration into our market sensing process. Develop sales forecasts and monitor market trends throughout the year for monthly forecast adjustments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement comprehensive customer and pricing strategies that enhance the profitability and growth of the business unit.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of our market share, competitive standing, and profitability at assigned accounts.
  • Establish and implement the customer interface strategy, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and sponsors at major accounts while managing daily activities.
  • Formulate proactive new business opportunity plans, tracking and documenting progress towards sales targets.
  • Ensure total customer satisfaction by providing global coordination on client issues, monitoring performance on key supplier metrics, and pursuing corrective action plans as necessary.
  • Guarantee adherence to contract review procedures and the business unit's commercial policies.
  • Manage and engage in the development and scheduling of special projects and client events.
  • Provide global coordination on client issues as required.
  • Generate sales forecasts for use in the Long Range Plan (LRP) and monitor market trends throughout the year for monthly forecast adjustments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Extensive relevant sales or engineering experience
  • Significant experience in the automotive industry is essential
  • Proficiency in German and English is required
