About the Role

BorgWarner is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial relationships with key customers and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Management: Develop and implement comprehensive customer strategies to improve profitability and growth.
  • Account Management: Manage commercial activities for one or more customer accounts, including performance metrics, pricing strategies, and customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop proactive new business opportunity plans, and track progress toward sales objectives.
  • Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to drive business growth, including program managers, engineers, and logistics teams.
  • Communication: Represent BorgWarner to customers in a highly professional manner, develop and deploy comprehensive customer interface strategies, and build strong rapport with key decision makers.
  • Negotiation: Lead customer contract negotiations to support business unit growth objectives, ensure compliance with commercial processes, and adhere to sales process and process improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Hands-on experience in sales, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer experience and driving business growth.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, business/commercial acumen, problem-solving attitude, and ability to think strategically.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (Hons) or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
  • Language: Fluent in English and German.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to fulfill the role and manage nominated customer accounts.
