About the Role

As a Logistics Area Manager at Amazon Logistik GmbH, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment centers. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of professionals in achieving exceptional customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a High-Performing Team: Foster a culture of safety and well-being, and motivate your team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent high-quality and productivity, and ensure seamless execution of all company objectives.
  • Team Development and Administration: Support and lead your team, and handle administrative tasks, while building and maintaining a strong team culture.
  • Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize workflows and customer service.
  • Collaboration and Standardization: Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.
A Day in the Life

As a Logistics Area Manager, your day will be filled with leading and motivating your team, analyzing and optimizing processes, and ensuring a seamless operation of the fulfillment center. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and Motivating Your Team: The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for employee development and growth.
  • Process Analysis and Optimization: Continuously analyze and optimize existing processes to improve quality, safety, speed, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring Smooth Operations: Ensure a smooth operation and maintain a high level of productivity through effective reporting and communication.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English and German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Relevant Experience: Relevant experience in data analysis and interpretation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Experience in communicating with various stakeholders, including colleagues and management.
  • Logistics Experience: Experience in a logistics environment.
  • MS Office Skills: Experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting.
