Amazon Logistik GmbH Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Amazon Logistik GmbH team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and Maintain a Culture of Excellence: Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team, ensuring that all team members are empowered to contribute to the success of the organization.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency, ensuring that our operations are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity, and enhance service quality for our customers, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate with senior colleagues to standardize shift procedures, analyze shifts according to company guidelines, and take actions to improve operational excellence, ensuring that our operations are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including colleagues and executives, to communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, operations management, or business administration.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a logistics or operations environment, with a track record of delivering results and improving performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including colleagues and executives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Language Skills: Advanced English and German language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean and Six Sigma Certification: Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, with a proven track record of implementing process improvements and delivering results.
  • Logistics Background: Experience in a logistics or supply chain environment, with a strong understanding of logistics processes and procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting, with the ability to use data and analytics to inform business decisions.
