Area Manager

As an Area Manager at Amazon Logistik GmbH, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment centers. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of professionals who are responsible for the efficient processing and shipping of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of logistics professionals who are responsible for the efficient processing and shipping of customer orders. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve team performance, providing coaching and feedback to team members, and ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Implement Process Improvements: You will be responsible for identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity. This includes analyzing data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, developing and implementing new processes and procedures, and ensuring that all changes are properly communicated to team members.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: You will be responsible for ensuring that all operational processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rates, shipping times, and customer satisfaction, and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure that all teams are working together effectively to achieve business objectives.
The Customer Fulfillment team at Amazon Logistik GmbH is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are processed and shipped efficiently and effectively. This team is critical to the success of our business, and we are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, with a proven track record of success in process improvement and team leadership.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
