The role is crucial for fostering business growth and strengthening relationships with key partners across the region.
Role Overview:
As a Key Account Manager for Partner Sales, you will be instrumental in enhancing our Partner and Project business in Germany, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of channel dynamics, commercial project business, and the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with both existing and prospective partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with current partners while identifying and engaging new key partners.
- Oversee a sales territory that encompasses the West and North regions of Germany.
- Collaborate with partners, distributors, and vendors on intricate projects involving networking solutions.
- Manage the partner project pipeline and engage directly with corporate end customers.
- Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and devise strategies to uphold category leadership.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain robust customer relationships.
- Organize and prioritize sales calls to optimize sales objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to enhance sales results.
- Provide pertinent market insights and competitive intelligence to boost business performance.
- Implement sales initiatives to accelerate product adoption within the portfolio.
- Deliver regular updates on projects and pipeline for reporting and forecasting.
- Manage project business, including product selection and pricing strategies.
- Develop and maintain partner relationships through ethical sales practices and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT industry sales, preferably in a channel or end customer sales capacity.
- Successful track record in managing partner business with project pipeline oversight.
- Self-driven with a proactive mindset and strong goal orientation.
- Ability to excel in a competitive market environment.
- Excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to build business relationships.
- Understanding of channel partnership economics and dynamics.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the IT Infrastructure sector.
- Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
- Fluency in German at a professional level and proficiency in English.
- Eligibility to work in Germany.
