Digital Marketing Tracking Expert

Position: Tracking Specialist

As a Tracking Specialist at media:net, you will spearhead the enhancement of our marketing tracking systems, ensuring optimal performance and data accuracy.

Your role will involve close collaboration with developers, marketing professionals, analysts, and other stakeholders to maximize the effectiveness of marketing tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and proprietary data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine Google Analytics data to verify precise data collection and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Assess tracking setups and communicate findings with the team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to improve and sustain the GA-based tracking framework.
  • Provide detailed tracking implementation specifications, recommend enhancements, and resolve any issues.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on tracking mechanisms.
  • Support stakeholders in comprehending tracking processes and ensure configurations are current.
  • Introduce advanced tools and platforms to bolster user acquisition marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Google Analytics implementation and data interpretation.
  • Thorough understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager data collection best practices.
  • A proactive approach focused on continuous improvement of processes and data tracking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and effective communication skills.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript and HTML is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 is advantageous.
