Position Title: Business Development Manager

Role Summary: We are in search of a proactive and seasoned Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth strategies at our financial planning startup dedicated to expatriates in Germany. This crucial position entails developing and implementing strategies to broaden our client portfolio, establishing strategic alliances, and driving revenue enhancement. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the financial planning sector and a successful history in business development. As an integral member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and other key personnel to fulfill our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and manage our social media lead generation systems to maintain a consistent influx of qualified leads.
  • Evaluate and prioritize leads to ensure the sales team concentrates on high-value clients within our target demographic.
  • Organize and conduct online webinars to inform potential clients about our offerings and generate leads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key introducers, including partners, affiliates, and industry influencers.
  • Direct the creation and execution of our B2B strategies to foster and sustain partnerships with SMEs.
  • Identify and apply strategies to boost cross-selling opportunities within our existing client base.
  • Work closely with the team to align business development strategies with sales objectives.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team to improve their efficiency in converting leads into clients.
  • Regularly report on progress, challenges, and achievements to the Managing Director and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish connections.
  • Continuously seek improvements in business development processes, strategies, and outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into our business development initiatives.

Reporting Structure: The Business Development Manager will report directly to the Managing Director.

Location: This position is remote, allowing flexibility to work from various locations.

Working Conditions: The Business Development Manager role is a freelance position (with potential employment option after 12 months) requiring a commitment of at least 35 hours per week. Travel may be necessary for team meetings and client events to support business development efforts and cultivate strong client relationships.

Compensation: The remuneration is performance-based and will reflect the level of skill and effort dedicated to the role. You will benefit from the growth of the business as there is no cap on earning potential.

LeX-Wealth – Job Requirements (Qualifications)

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is advantageous.

Professional certifications in Business Development, Sales, or Financial Planning are beneficial.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.

A proven history of developing and executing successful business development strategies.

Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in financial planning, is highly desirable.

Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong strategic planning and analytical capabilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in utilizing CRM software and other business development tools.

Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders.

Fluency in English is required; additional languages (especially German) are advantageous.
