Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnership Development Manager to join our team at Commvault. As a key member of our partnership development team, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with nominated partners, driving revenue growth, and expanding our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Execute Partnership Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance our brand presence.
  2. Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with nominated partners, understanding their business needs, and identifying opportunities to showcase Commvault's value proposition.
  3. Drive Revenue Growth: Achieve quarterly revenue targets by developing and executing account plans, identifying new business opportunities, and overcoming objections.
  4. Improve Pipeline and Win Rates: Mentor and facilitate partners' sales forces, conduct regular pipeline review meetings, and provide resources to overcome objections and advance opportunities.
  5. Participate in Demand Generation Marketing Activities: Plan, develop, and deliver Commvault's participation in partners' demand generation marketing activities, ensuring relevant partner sales forecasts and initiating, measuring, and running Commvault partner account plans.
  6. Run Regular Business Reviews: Understand the status of significant engagements, opportunities, and initiatives within partnerships, and develop positive relationships with peers across the company.
  7. Establish Commvault as the Preferred Solution: Increase brand awareness and mindshare within the partner organization, creating sponsors and supporters for the Commvault brand.
  8. Evangelize Commvault within Partner Organizations: Drive engagement at an executive, marketing, and sales level, initiating, developing, and promoting relationships with third parties to broaden the scope of the company's business activity.
  9. Stay Ahead of New Technology: Keep development units and EMEA HO aware of product enhancements and development requirements for their area.
Requirements:
  1. Proven Experience in Selling through Resellers and Distributors: A strong track record of success in selling software solutions through resellers and distributors.
  2. Outstanding Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to acquire the best possible terms.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  4. Self-Initiative and Motivation: Self-initiative, self-motivation, collaborative approach, and great teammate mentality.
  5. Knowledge of Enterprise Sales Methodology: Knowledge of creating detailed and executable account plans using enterprise sales methodology.
  6. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the industry, products, competitors, emerging trends, and changing marketplace.
  7. Articulation of Value Proposition: Proven ability to articulate the company's value proposition and present solutions effectively.
  8. Strong History of Achieving Targets: Strong history of achieving annual targets and quotas.
