Job Title: Facility and Maintenance Engineer
Role Overview:
Adepto Technical Recruitment is seeking a skilled Facility and Maintenance Engineer to oversee the upkeep and servicing of production facilities, machinery, and essential infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring that our operational environment meets both present and future production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute infrastructure initiatives, focusing on electrical systems, HVAC, and fire safety systems.
- Ensure the effective integration of specialized equipment into building systems for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct and coordinate troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks for testing and production environments.
- Engage and manage external facility service providers.
- Lead the establishment of a maintenance framework, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and related procedures for production facilities and equipment.
- Oversee spare parts and equipment inventory, conducting regular stock assessments.
- Supervise and coordinate activities with external vendors, contractors, and facility service teams.
- Identify and analyze facility-related challenges, conducting root cause investigations.
- Promote and support improvement initiatives with various stakeholders to mitigate incidents.
Requirements
Candidate Profile:
- Completed technical apprenticeship, Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent credentials.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Facilities Engineering position or a related field (apprenticeship experience will be considered).
- In-depth knowledge of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, air supply, and fire protection.
- Capability to assess technical work effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and standards relevant to building systems.
- Certification as an electrician and experience in electrical work is advantageous.
- Ability to execute tasks accurately in accordance with internal procedures, safety, and security standards.
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2) and German (minimum B1).
- A hands-on approach to work.
- Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and organized.
