About the Department

The Human Resources division plays a crucial role in supporting Deutsche Bank with personnel-related matters and addresses a wide array of business-critical topics, including talent development and acquisition, compensation and personnel costs, workforce deployment, and organizational structure.

The ongoing evolution of the HR division from a strategic perspective is essential in light of the continuous changes in the banking environment, labor market conditions, and the demands of the business model. It is vital to identify relevant issues, pilot initiatives, and ensure their concrete and targeted implementation.

Your Responsibilities

You will take charge of the advancement and specification of the functional strategy of the HR division in close collaboration with the Global Head of HR Strategy, Workforce Analytics, Risk & Control, and in alignment with other business areas and functions within HR. Specifically, you will:
  • Generate innovative ideas and develop concrete concepts for strategically significant matters
  • Conduct detailed and precise analyses of strategic issues and develop and validate business cases
  • Formulate implementation proposals and pilot projects, coordinating them closely with the relevant areas
  • Provide support for the implementation and execution of transformation and pilot initiatives
  • Prepare and conduct presentations and workshops at the HR leadership or board level
  • Lead a team of highly skilled professionals in a dynamic environment
Your Skills and Experience
  • Master's degree in a STEM field. Ideally, a further advanced qualification (PhD, Executive MBA)
  • Several years of project management experience in a competitive environment, preferably in consulting or similar
  • Strong and comprehensive analytical skills, with proven extensive experience in using analytical tools (Pandas, Scikit, Pytorch, or similar)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing an HR strategy - both as a functional strategy and as a personnel strategy
  • Basic and advanced knowledge in managing skills, skill ecosystems; artificial intelligence; IT and data architecture
  • Exceptional comprehension and analytical thinking abilities, strong communication skills in presentations and language (both German and English), proven leadership capabilities with excellent team feedback
