Job Title: Operations Specialist - Global Banking

Join Goldman Sachs as an Operations Specialist in our Global Banking division, where you will play a critical role in supporting the Equities Execution Services Operations team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of trade bookings, resolving exceptions, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships and communicate with clients' Middle Offices and custodians
  • Participate in client calls, meetings, and broker reviews
  • Collaborate with Sales & Trading desks to support cash equity business
  • Allocate trades and resolve trade fails
  • Reconcile trade bookings and resolve breaks
  • Coordinate processing of life cycle events such as asset servicing events
  • Pre-match trades and manage fails
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in financial services
  • Proven analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a control mentality/attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate on complex issues
  • Highly collaborative and team-focused with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills along with the ability to use discretion and good judgment
  • Self-motivated and proactive, organized, and able to prioritize effectively
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German is required
  • Fluent French and/or Dutch is a plus
