Position Overview: As the Manager of Port Cost Analytics and Operations, you will play a crucial role in optimizing port expenditures and enhancing operational efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate port expenses, services, and operational workflows to uncover cost-saving initiatives and execute necessary improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of port cost budgets.
- Oversee procurement activities, engage in contract negotiations with suppliers, and facilitate required actions.
- Produce and present analytical reports to stakeholders to support effective itinerary and port planning.
- Support the berth reservation process for AIDA and Costa vessels.
Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or Purchasing & Logistics Management.
- A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in business administration, shipping, or logistics, ideally within the cruise industry.
- Experience in finance, controlling, or similar fields, along with skills in financial reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, strong negotiation capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English (the company's official language) and proficiency in computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of MXP is advantageous).
