About the Role

  • As a Team Leader: Customs, you will be responsible for leading a team of customs professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of customs clearance processes.
  • You will be responsible for managing customs declarations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • You will also be responsible for developing and implementing customs procedures and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for providing training and guidance to team members on customs procedures and regulations.
  • You will work closely with the customs team to ensure that all customs-related activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports related to customs activities.

Requirements

  • You will have a strong background in customs and trade, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • You will have excellent knowledge of customs regulations and procedures, as well as experience with customs software and systems.
  • You will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of customs professionals.
  • You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex customs-related issues.
  • You will have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records and reports.
