Senior Electro-Functional Systems Engineer

OHB System AG is a leading space company in Europe, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electro-Functional Systems Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a seasoned Electro-Functional Systems Engineer to lead our payload projects and teams. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing Electro-Functional technical solutions, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Electro-Functional Systems Engineering for payload projects, including coordinating and guiding project teams.
- Define instrument requirements and challenge design solutions to ensure compliance with customer requirements and budgets.
- Develop and maintain Electro-Functional design baseline solutions, including defining and specifying internal and external interfaces.
- Perform technical management of subcontracts and support the evaluation and management of deviations and non-conformances.
- Collaborate with System technical management and other Systems Engineering disciplines.
- University or polytechnic degree or PhD in Physics or Engineering, ideally in Systems Engineering with a focus on Electro-Functional disciplines.
- At least five to ten years of professional experience in design, development, and verification activities for space projects, preferably in the Electro-Functional area.
- Organized and structured task approach, high degree of motivation, and ability to lead and guide project-related engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of the system from an Electro-Functional perspective and ability to lead system and unit-level verification activities.
- Excellent communication skills, combined with the ability to work in international and multi-disciplinary teams.
