Land Development Project Manager - Renewable EnergyAre you passionate about renewable energy and making a real impact on the world? Do you have a strong background in land development and project management within the clean energy sector?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Land Development Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful development and implementation of renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough analyses of potential project locations, considering regional planning regulations, environmental impact assessments, agricultural land use, and EEG requirements.
- Lead the process of securing grid connections for renewable energy projects by collaborating with Distribution System Operators (DSOs) and relevant authorities.
- Forge strong relationships with land development partners to acquire necessary land rights and manage these partnerships effectively.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of permitting procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable building codes and electrical connection regulations.
- Provide comprehensive reports to the Board of Directors on project progress throughout various stages of development.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with planning authorities, project partners, and DSOs to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections, monitor project implementation, and provide detailed reports on progress and any potential challenges.
- Represent GreenHarbour at industry events and conferences, including company presentations and networking opportunities.
- 3-8 years of proven experience in securing construction rights and grid connections for renewable energy projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in land acquisition, planning, and project implementation within the renewable energy sector.
- A strong understanding of building codes, electrical connection regulations, and relevant permitting processes.
- Experience working with DSOs, local authorities, landowners, and development partners.
- Fluency in business-level English and German is essential.
