Project Manager for Wind Energy Development

Department: Project Development

As a Project Manager Planning and Approval (m/f/d) for Onshore Wind, you will play a crucial role in advancing Renewable Energies in Germany. Your primary responsibility will be to develop Onshore Wind Energy projects until they are construction-ready. Collaborating with both internal and external experts, you will design wind farm concepts, review pertinent planning documents, and ensure the preparation of all necessary approval documentation.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a sub-project (approval in accordance with BImSchG) while taking into account legal, technical, and commercial aspects.
  • Define and agree on work packages with both internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring timely execution.
  • Analyze and assess potential implementation opportunities.
  • Conduct contract negotiations with local authorities and, if necessary, landowners utilizing existing contract templates.
  • Collaborate with service providers and local development partnerships.
Your Qualifications:
  • Extensive professional experience in the development of wind energy projects within the German market.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legal frameworks, particularly BImSchG, EEG, BauGB, ROG, BNatSchG, WindBG.
  • Experience in engaging with municipalities, regulatory bodies, and landowners.
  • Comprehension of financial analysis specific to Onshore Wind projects.
  • Independent, dedicated, and goal-oriented work ethic with a team-focused approach.
  • Clear, transparent, and objective communication skills in project management.
  • Proficient negotiation skills in German and good command of English, both written and spoken.
