Position: Country Director / Manager

BOARDLINK Executive Consultants International is seeking a dynamic Country Director / Manager for the DACH region. This pivotal role encompasses comprehensive P&L accountability and the strategic pursuit of growth through collaboration with manufacturers and retail partners. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in FMCG or consumer goods, along with substantial experience in sales and procurement, complemented by strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee full P&L management for the DACH region
  • Drive growth initiatives and enhance sales performance
  • Lead and develop the DACH operational team
  • Establish partnerships with manufacturers and retail clients
  • Design and implement operational frameworks
  • Facilitate the integration of acquired entities
  • Align and optimize sales strategies
  • Collaborate with the business development team
  • Build a dedicated team focused on the DACH market

The Country Director will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and will be responsible for leading a team across sales, procurement, and operational support functions. This role is essential for driving the organization's success in the region.

Qualifications:
  • Relevant commercial training or equivalent experience
  • Strong financial understanding
  • Proven management experience in FMCG or consumer goods sectors
  • Sales expertise in retail environments
  • Experience in procurement processes
  • Familiarity with the DACH market
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic vision
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships and foster collaboration
