Global Product Marketing Specialist

Position Overview
As a vital member of our global team, you will spearhead the market launch of Renesas' cutting-edge microcontroller units (MCUs). Your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring a successful introduction of our innovative products to the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate as a global team member to facilitate the market launch of next-generation MCUs.
  • Gather, define, and meticulously track global customer requirements.
  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive market introduction strategy, targeting key customers and market segments worldwide.
  • Ensure the availability of all necessary resources and coordinate with relevant departments to prepare the complete product package, including documentation, starter kits, promotional materials, and software, while also training the sales team on assigned products.
  • Create public marketing content such as whitepapers, press releases, and webinars to enhance product visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams and design departments to establish and monitor product roadmaps for Renesas microcontroller offerings.
  • Engage with internal support teams to provide assistance for Renesas products.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information exchange with our headquarters in Japan.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in product marketing within the semiconductor sector.
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry, including knowledge of requirements from car manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • In-depth understanding of embedded microcontrollers and their ecosystems.
  • Strong ability to comprehend technical specifications and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Experience with software IT infrastructure and standard office tools (e.g., MS Office).
  • Ideally, experience in automotive system design, electrical/electronic architecture, customer negotiations, product definition, and managing complex technical requests in collaboration with key clients.
  • Knowledge of MCU architecture, networking, functional safety, security, and embedded software is advantageous.
