STARK Sourcing: Your Opportunity
STARK Sourcing is a cross-country organization responsible for all sourcing activities in STARK Group. We are the only true cross-border procurement organization in the building materials industry in Europe, and we take pride in delivering the right products at the right price to our customers.
Your Role: Hand Tools Category ManagerAs a Hand Tools Category Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the success of this important product category within STARK Deutschland. Your expertise and strategic vision will drive growth and profitability for the entire organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive Group Category Strategy for Hand Tools, encompassing European Sourcing Strategies in collaboration with Business Units, aligned with Sourcing Advisory Board decisions.
- Define the optimal supplier portfolio, considering factors such as concentration, balance, net cost price, brand power, and tender vs. forecast utilization.
- Coordinate and lead the review and implementation of assortment activities in collaboration with BU category-teams.
- Establish supplier frame contracts and strategic processes in cooperation with Business Units sourcing management.
- Define and agree upon campaigns and marketing activities in coordination with Business Units category teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for group suppliers in the Hand Tools category, ensuring their successful integration into the European Supplier Program (ESP).
- Perform cost driver breakdowns, analyze supplier performance, and monitor market developments to inform category and sourcing decisions.
- Establish a structured meeting framework with key suppliers/partners and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices to drive performance and compliance.
- Drive and manage agreed-upon initiatives within the Hand Tools category.
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in category management, preferably within the building materials industry. You possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of supplier relationships.
