Network Security Master/Technician (m/f/d)

Schleswig-Holstein Netz GmbH is seeking a Network Security Master/Technician (m/f/d) for their operations. Become an integral part of the energy transition.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical advisor for the design and execution of projects within the information and communication technology sector, with an emphasis on firewall and information security.
  • Address inquiries from the CERT, conduct analyses, and implement necessary actions autonomously.
  • Oversee planning and organizational tasks for operations and commissioning in conjunction with relevant network management entities.
  • Perform operational duties in adherence to established technical standards, internal guidelines, and applicable legal requirements, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external service providers, offering technical assistance.
  • Engage in on-call responsibilities.
  • Potential for deployment as a 'mobile employee' contingent upon meeting specific criteria.

Your Profile

  • Completed technical vocational training (Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) and currently pursuing or possessing a supplementary qualification (Master/Technician or equivalent).
  • Relevant hands-on experience in information and communication technology or a similar role in electrical engineering.
  • Preferably hold one or more manufacturer certifications (FCA, CCNA, etc.) and possess knowledge in information security.
  • Strong motivation to gain technical insights into the functionality and implications of utilized technologies, with a keen interest in digitalization.
  • Customer satisfaction is your driving force and top priority.
  • Recognize your strengths and utilize them to foster team success.
  • Proactive networker, enjoying collaboration with colleagues across various sectors.

  • Possess a valid driver's license (Class B).
