Network Security Master/Technician (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical liaison for the design and execution of projects in the field of information and communication technology, with a strong emphasis on firewall management and information security.
  • Address inquiries from the CERT, conduct thorough analyses, and implement necessary actions autonomously.
  • Coordinate planning and organizational tasks for operations and commissioning in partnership with relevant network management entities.
  • Perform operational duties in accordance with established technical standards, internal policies, and applicable legal requirements, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Engage with both internal and external service providers, offering technical assistance as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • Potential for deployment as a 'mobile employee' contingent upon meeting specific criteria.

Your Profile

  • Completed technical vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, along with a supplementary qualification (Master/Technician or equivalent) either in progress or completed.
  • Demonstrated practical experience in information and communication technology or a related field in electrical engineering.
  • Possession of one or more manufacturer certifications (e.g., FCA, CCNA) and familiarity with information security principles is preferred.
  • Strong motivation to deepen technical knowledge regarding the functionality and implications of utilized technologies, with a keen interest in digital transformation.
  • Customer satisfaction drives your work ethic and priorities.
  • Ability to identify personal strengths and utilize them to foster team success.
  • Adept at networking and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across various organizational boundaries.
  • Innovative mindset, consistently seeking improvements and approaching challenges with curiosity.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B) is required.
