IT Specialist for Application Support and Development

Position Overview
The role involves providing autonomous assistance to users across various levels, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues effectively. You will be responsible for the installation, operation, and ongoing maintenance of specialized software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver independent support for users, ranging from first to third level, ensuring thorough problem analysis and effective resolution implementation.
- Oversee the installation, functioning, and upkeep of specialized applications.
- Engage in the design, creation, and enhancement of reports and dashboards to meet user needs.
- Analyze data structures from upstream systems and develop data models aligned with the existing Business Intelligence framework.
- Gather and analyze requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Implement technical modifications and software solutions as necessary.
- Lead software project initiatives from conception to execution.
- Facilitate training sessions for users to enhance their understanding and usage of applications.
- Manage relationships with external service providers to ensure service quality.
- Coordinate and supervise enhancements and developments in application functionality.
- Support procurement processes related to software and services.
- Design and oversee program testing in collaboration with various departments.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in IT or a completed vocational training as an IT specialist in application development, complemented by relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience in IT project management and report generation; familiarity with Qlik View and/or Qlik Sense is a plus.
- Knowledge of diverse software solutions and subsystems.
- Strong understanding of relational database structures, particularly Oracle and MS-SQL.
- Proficient in creating SQL queries.
- Ability to think structurally and solve problems collaboratively, with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, resilience, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- A valid Class B driving license is required.
