Power Device Development Project Manager

Infineon Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager for Power Device Development to join our Automotive/ATV division in Dresden.
As part of the High Voltage product line (HV), you will play a crucial role in developing innovative semiconductor power device products and solutions for electric vehicle drive technologies.
Your Responsibilities:- Project Leadership: Plan, control, and execute development projects for new IGBT, diode, and SiC MOSFET products, collaborating with Infineon sites globally.
- Team Management: Form, guide, and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Project Ownership: Assume full project manager responsibilities, including overall planning, target alignment, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the development process.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the technical background and interdependencies within projects to proactively identify and resolve complex challenges.
- Education: A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferably with a PhD.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry, including 3 years as a project leader in chip development.
- Technical Skills: A strong understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing is highly desirable.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication, moderation, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Fluency in English is essential; German language proficiency is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze complex project situations, manage crisis situations, and present concise summaries to senior management.
