High Voltage Product Development Project Leader

As part of the Automotive/ATV division, the High Voltage product line (HV) is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge semiconductor power device solutions aimed at enhancing drive technologies for electric vehicles. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the project manager overseeing the development of Automotive High Voltage products.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, oversee, and implement development initiatives for new IGBT, diode, and SiC MOSFET products, collaborating with various Infineon locations globally.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, fostering energy and commitment by providing opportunities for team members.
- Assume comprehensive project management duties, which include overall project planning, aligning development targets, managing resources, budget oversight, and executing professional risk management.
- Act as the primary project manager and project owner for subordinate projects, ensuring alignment with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the technical landscape and interdependencies to proactively identify and address complex challenges.
- Serve as a consultant and liaison to internal and external clients, including Application Engineering, R&D, Project Management, Sales, and other departments.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a PhD.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor sector, including a minimum of 3 years in a project leadership role, ideally within chip development.
- A solid technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development, and semiconductor processing.
- A proactive approach combined with strong communication and facilitation skills to effectively align various stakeholders, with excellent proficiency in English; German is a plus.
- The capability to comprehend and organize complex project scenarios: adept at managing crises and presenting consolidated information to senior management.
