Global Sustainability Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Sustainability Manager. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving our company's sustainability strategy and ensuring that we meet our long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of our company's sustainability strategy, ensuring that it is aligned with our business objectives and goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainable development initiatives across our global operations, including the development of sustainable business models and the implementation of sustainable practices.
  • Collaborate with our business units to identify and prioritize sustainability opportunities and develop strategies to address them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to promote our sustainability initiatives and ensure that they are aligned with our business objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to our business units on sustainability-related matters, including the development of sustainable products and services.
  • Lead the development and implementation of sustainability reporting and metrics, ensuring that we meet our reporting requirements and provide transparent and accurate information to our stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our sustainability practices.
  • Collaborate with our communications team to develop and implement internal and external communications strategies to promote our sustainability initiatives and achievements.
  • Support the development and implementation of our company's climate change strategy, including the development of greenhouse gas reduction targets and the implementation of climate change mitigation and adaptation measures.
  • Lead the development and implementation of our company's sustainable development goals, including the development of key performance indicators and the implementation of strategies to achieve them.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability or a related field, with a proven track record of driving sustainability initiatives and achieving results.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and tools, including life cycle assessment, sustainable supply chain management, and sustainable product design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and information, and to develop and implement effective solutions to sustainability challenges.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and apply business principles and practices to drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global business environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, with occasional travel to international locations.
