Quality Assurance Specialist

Bishop GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout our aerospace manufacturing processes.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Quality Planning and Inspection: Analyze quality planning documents and derive inspection tasks from technical specifications. Determine inspection criteria, methods, and cycles based on manufacturing instructions.
  • Production Integration: Coordinate with production planning teams to integrate inspection requirements into production and test plans.
  • First Article Inspection: Create comprehensive first article inspection plans according to EN9102 standards, utilizing both digital CAQ tools and traditional paper-based methods.
  • Production Control and Test Planning: Develop detailed production control plans, test plans, and Ground Test Instructions.
  • Quality Assurance Support: Provide support for process and procedure assurance initiatives, quality improvement programs, and statistical process control (SPC) activities.
  • Standard Development: Establish and maintain standards for inspection and quality planning procedures within the organization.
  • FMEA and Control Plan Participation: Actively participate in the creation of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) reports and Control Plans.
  • CAQ Tool Enhancement: Assist in the ongoing development and improvement of our CAQ tool, including incorporating relevant manufacturing instructions into the feature database.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during customer and regulatory audits related to EN9100/EN9102 standards.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • A strong commitment to quality, reliability, teamwork, analytical thinking, and a willingness to learn continuously.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
  • An educational background as a Technician/Engineer or equivalent, with extensive experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Several years of proven experience in aviation as a production planner, inspector, or engineer.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in SAP and CATIA software applications.
  • A thorough understanding of Airbus tools, drawing systems, production processes, and relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with analysis methods such as FMEA and APQP is highly desirable.
