Supply Chain Digitalization Expert

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic projects to transform Schaeffler's global Supply Chain organization into a data-driven, robust, and efficient operation.
- Identify business processes ripe for digitization and evaluate potential improvements.
- Address complex supply chain questions with data-driven solutions, leveraging simulation, analytics, machine learning, optimization models, and statistics.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of supply chain management, focusing on digitalization, technology, and data strategy.
- Bring innovative ideas to the table and implement them to demonstrate their value.
- Collaborate closely with IT and business units to drive results.
- Stay up-to-date with new and innovative methods and technologies in supply chain digitalization.
- Effectively communicate complex issues to diverse audiences through compelling presentations.
- (Master's) degree in business information systems, data science, business mathematics, mathematics, supply chain management, or equivalent.
- Experience and knowledge in supply chain management.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, R) and SQL.
- Knowledge of data engineering (ETL pipelines, Big Data tools, REST API, cloud services such as Azure) is an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, S4/Hana, transport management systems is an asset.
- Ability to synthesize complex issues and drive desired outcomes.
- Enthusiastic team player with a passion for optimizing global supply chains.
- Success-oriented creative solution finder with a hands-on mentality.
- Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of German.
- 50% remote work possible.
