Your Role

You will be part of the Supply Chain Technology and Digitalization team. Our mission is to shape the global supply chain organization of Schaeffler using data-driven and system-controlled approaches, making it robust and efficient.

  • Identify business processes that can be digitalized and evaluate their improvement potential
  • Answer complex supply chain questions using data-driven solutions, such as simulation, analytics, machine learning, optimization models, and statistics
  • Contribute to the alignment of supply chain management with digitalization, technology, and data management
  • Introduce ideas and implement them independently in the form of prototypes to demonstrate added value
  • Collaborate closely with IT and business departments
  • Explore new and innovative methods and technologies in the field of supply chain digitalization
  • Present complex information in a convincing and target-group-oriented manner

Your Profile

  • (Master-)Degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Business Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge in supply chain management
  • Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, R) and SQL
  • Knowledge of data engineering (ETL pipelines, big data tools, REST API, cloud services like Azure) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP, S4/Hana, transport management systems is an advantage
  • Results-oriented and creative problem-solving combined with a hands-on mentality
  • Passion for optimizing global supply chains
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English
