If you are an analyst with experience in front-end visualization and are eager to make a significant impact within the adidas supply chain, this position is designed for you.
As a member of the Supply Chain Intelligence team, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager of Supply Chain Business Intelligence to:
- Establish data transparency regarding critical performance indicators in the most automated manner.
- Achieve consistency across various markets.
- Spot opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
- Ensure that all pertinent metrics are developed and reported in a manner and frequency that meets business needs.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to cultivate productive cross-functional relationships to better comprehend and address business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Definition
- Oversee initiatives to enhance visibility with relevant teams by defining problems, formulating hypotheses, and collecting and analyzing data.
- Convert business inquiries and needs into both business and technical specifications.
- Create comprehensive and current documentation.
Reporting
- Develop and enhance reporting capabilities (design, development, and improvement), ensuring standardization, harmonization, and scalable solutions with rapid and efficient data access.
- Utilize appropriate tools (e.g., SQL) for data analysis and visualize data using platforms such as MicroStrategy or Power BI.
- Investigate insights and trends to identify enhancements to business performance and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence reporting teams to provide a thorough analysis of key KPIs and derive actionable insights that identify root causes.
- Recognize, interpret, and communicate patterns and trends (including benchmarks) related to key business drivers, transforming insights into actionable recommendations for key stakeholders.
- Facilitate improvements in data management with relevant stakeholders to ensure maximum efficiency and maintain a single version of truth (data accuracy and source integrity).
- Lead communication and training related to new tools and processes with relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Serve as the point of contact for reporting testing prior to new releases.
- Manage the demand intake process to capture new requirements through close and regular interaction with SCM markets.
- Organize, coordinate, and actively contribute to defining and executing user acceptance tests for newly developed reporting capabilities.
- Drive change management for newly developed reporting capabilities to SCM Markets and relevant stakeholders.
Consulting
- Proactively assess and identify reporting requirements with the management team.
- Conduct regular analyses of operational reporting and define areas for improvement with actionable insights.
- Engage with other BPMs from various SCM functions to capture system and process changes.
- Manage interdependencies between projects and ensure that suitable timelines are maintained for projects and process enhancements.

- Ability to comprehend and design data into effective reporting to enhance business decision-making.
- Capability to manage and participate in Reporting & Analytics projects as assigned.
- Good knowledge of agile project management principles and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain management or related fields such as business administration, logistics, planning, or information systems from an accredited institution.
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain management or retail operations.
- Experience in process (re-)design and data analytics, preferably with a background in SC Reporting & Analytics.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and operational practices, logistics terminology, basic finance, and management of cross-functional interdependencies.
