Supply Chain Digitalization Expert

Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be part of the Supply Chain Technology and Digitalization team, responsible for managing strategic projects and driving continuous improvement efforts to transform Schaeffler's global Supply Chain organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying business processes that can be digitized and evaluating their improvement potential
- Addressing complex supply chain questions with data-driven solutions, leveraging simulation, analytics, machine learning, optimization models, and statistics
- Contributing to the strategic direction of supply chain management in terms of digitalization, technology, and data strategy
- Developing and implementing innovative solutions to drive business value
- Collaborating closely with IT and business units to drive supply chain transformation
- Staying up-to-date with new and innovative methods and technologies in the field of supply chain digitalization
- Communicating complex issues effectively to various stakeholders through compelling presentations
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in business information systems, data science, business mathematics, mathematics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Experience and knowledge in supply chain management, with a strong focus on digitalization and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent programming skills in object-oriented languages (e.g., Python, R) and SQL
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ETL pipelines, Big Data tools, REST API, and cloud services (e.g., Azure)
- Experience with SAP ERP, S4/Hana, and transport management systems is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex issues and drive desired outcomes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team
- Fluency in English and good knowledge of German
