Sales Director for Chemical Solutions

In the role of Sales Director, you will be tasked with crafting and executing strategic sales plans aimed at broadening the customer base and enhancing product sales.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivating strong connections with existing and prospective clients to fulfill and surpass their expectations.
  • Business Expansion: Discovering and pursuing new business avenues, including entering new markets and customer demographics.
  • Sales Strategy Formulation: Designing and implementing a thorough sales strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives.
  • Market Research: Analyzing market dynamics, customer requirements, and competitor actions to pinpoint growth possibilities.
  • Product Expertise: Possessing an in-depth understanding of product attributes and advantages to effectively convey to clients.
  • Sales Projections: Creating sales forecasts and budgets while monitoring performance against established targets.
  • Contract Negotiation: Engaging in negotiations regarding contracts, pricing, and terms with clients for mutual advantage.
  • Reporting and Insights: Compiling regular sales reports and analyses to monitor outcomes and propose enhancements.
  • Industry Events Participation: Representing the organization at trade exhibitions and industry gatherings to showcase products and establish connections.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred background in chemistry, biotechnology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Director and in Account Management within the chemical or personal care sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales objectives.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with sales software and CRM platforms.
  • Experience in technical sales of corporate offerings.
  • Fluency in German with proficient English skills.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
