We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Team Leader to join our team at Railpool
About the Role
- As a Customs Team Leader, you will be responsible for building and leading a customs team, ensuring reliable material availability in our workshops, and managing customs formalities and processes.
- You will handle customs formalities, create export documents, and manage customs documents and storage.
- You will also monitor import documents, tax assessments, and customs documents, and initiate corrections as needed.
- Additionally, you will provide technical support and act as a contact person in customs audits, both with authorities and internally.
- You will play a key role in the introduction of a customs software for ongoing optimization and take on the role of Key User.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a commercial training in foreign trade, logistics, or customs, or have further specialized in the customs area.
- You bring a high level of expertise and experience in the areas of the task.
- You are service-oriented and have a confident appearance.
- You have a high affinity for digitization and bring a high level of innovation and implementation strength.
- A confident handling of common MS Office programs is self-evident for you.
- You have fluent German and English skills.
- Your conscientious, independent, and precise way of working complete your profile.
