Position: Program Manager (m/f/d) for Research Transfer in STEM Education

We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join our Program and Funding department at our Berlin office. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential for extension.

Context: The Stifterverband is deeply engaged in analysis, funding, networking, and advocacy to promote a sustainable education and research ecosystem. A key focus area is addressing the STEM skills gap to bolster the innovation landscape while championing diversity and equal opportunities.

Your Qualifications
  • A completed university degree in educational sciences or a related field.
  • Professional experience in research transfer or empirical educational research.
  • Ability to simplify complex educational concepts and scientific information into accessible communication formats.
  • Proven skills in developing communication strategies that bridge science and practice, with a background in science journalism or educational methodologies being advantageous.
  • Experience in planning and executing events.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for conceptual, strategic, and operational work.
Your Responsibilities
  • As the Program Manager for Research Transfer in STEM Education, you will create transfer strategies to apply insights from educational research in practical settings.
  • Identify transfer requirements and relevant content for effective STEM education derived from the Stifterverband's projects and partnerships.
  • Develop formats for existing transfer channels, including social media, websites, digital learning resources, and community platforms, while exploring additional channels.
  • Utilize existing communication formats to facilitate the transfer process and collaborate with communication teams.
  • Design and manage events that foster dialogue between the realms of science and practice, coordinating with external service providers as needed.
  • Encourage collaboration among various relevant projects and work closely with project leaders.
