Position Overview: Program Manager (m/f/d) for Research Transfer in STEM Education

We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join our Program and Funding department in Berlin. This role is initially set for a two-year term, with the potential for extension.

Context: The Stifterverband plays an active role in funding, networking, and influencing the development of a sustainable education and science ecosystem. A key focus is addressing the STEM skills gap to enhance the innovation landscape while advocating for diversity and equal opportunities.

Your Qualifications
  • A completed university degree in educational sciences or a related field.
  • Professional experience in research or knowledge transfer, particularly in educational research.
  • Ability to simplify complex educational concepts and scientific information into accessible communication formats.
  • Proficiency in creating communication strategies that bridge science and practice, with experience in science journalism or educational methods being beneficial.
  • Experience in planning and executing events.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A passion for conceptual, strategic, and operational work.
Your Responsibilities
  • Develop transfer strategies to translate insights from educational research into practical applications.
  • Identify the needs for transfer and relevant content for effective STEM education from various projects.
  • Manage the development of formats for existing transfer channels (e.g., social media, website, digital learning platforms) and explore new channels.
  • Utilize established communication formats (e.g., newsletters, social media) and collaborate with communication teams.
  • Design and facilitate events that encourage dialogue between scientific research and practical application, coordinating with external service providers.
  • Promote collaboration among various relevant projects and work closely with project leaders.
