STEM Education Program Manager

Position: Program Manager (m/f/d) for Research Transfer in STEM EducationWe are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join our Program and Funding department. This role is designed to facilitate the transfer of research insights into practical applications within the STEM education sector.
Background: The Stifterverband is committed to addressing the STEM skills gap and supporting a diverse and equitable educational environment. Our initiatives focus on funding, networking, and advocating for sustainable education and research systems.
Your Qualifications- A completed university degree in educational sciences or a related field.
- Professional experience in research transfer or educational research.
- Ability to simplify complex educational topics and scientific findings into accessible communication formats.
- Experience in developing communication strategies that bridge the gap between science and practice, with a background in science journalism or educational didactics being beneficial.
- Proficiency in planning and executing events.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A passion for conceptual, strategic, and operational work.
- Develop transfer strategies to translate educational research findings into practical applications.
- Identify the needs for transfer and create relevant content to enhance STEM education based on projects from the Stifterverband and its partners.
- Manage existing transfer channels and explore new avenues for dissemination (e.g., social media, digital platforms).
- Utilize and coordinate communication formats to facilitate the transfer process.
- Design and implement events that encourage dialogue between the scientific community and educational practitioners, collaborating with external service providers.
- Foster collaboration among various projects and maintain close communication with project leaders.
- Engagement in a forward-thinking topic at the intersection of education, science, and societal development.
