As a reliable partner for the development of mechatronic systems, OHB Digital Connect GmbH is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer for Mission Control Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of a Mission Control System based on ESA's EGS-CC / EGOS-CC
  • Integration of OHB mission control and flight dynamics tools into EGS-CC infrastructure
  • Integration of the developed MCS into the OHB DC Multi Mission Control Centre
  • Participation in the development of Ground Segment systems for current and future satellite missions
  • Planning and coordination of MCS-related development activities
  • Support in defining the required tasks and technical objectives
  • Creation and maintenance of design/interface documentation
  • Enabling transition from spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) to mission operations to maximize synergy across all mission phases
  • Acting as interface to customers and product owners

Requirements:

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or comparable qualification
  • Experience in working with mission control systems in the context of satellite operations or AIT activities
  • Experience in the design, implementation, or integration of mission control systems
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to learn new tasks quickly
  • Flexibility, an independent and effective way of working, as well as a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team
  • Business fluent in German is a prerequisite
  • Very good knowledge of English
