Risk Management Compliance Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the role of MARISK Compliance Manager (m/f/d) at ABOUT YOU. In this pivotal position within the Compliance department, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and the Compliance team, guiding the organization through its policies and the complexities of (FinTech) regulations. Your expertise will be essential in training staff, identifying compliance issues, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing comprehensive support on compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine the compliance management framework for ABOUT YOU, including oversight of control and monitoring processes.
- Draft, enhance, and implement policies and procedural specifications.
- Maintain a robust partnership with the compliance team at ABOUT YOU.
- Regularly evaluate the compliance landscape and manage reporting functions.
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits in accordance with established guidelines.
- Deliver compliance training sessions for employees and remain informed about significant legal and regulatory developments affecting ABOUT YOU.
- Manage (technical) compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in compliance within the Financial Services or FinTech sectors.
- A degree in law, business law, or business administration is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in compliance management are advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, execution, coordination, and oversight of a compliance management system.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks such as ZAG, ZAIT, MaRisk, etc.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities with a practical mindset.
- Capacity to work effectively in a team while confidently presenting ideas.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
