Compliance and Risk Management Specialist

Ihre Aufgaben
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the daily operations of IT compliance, data governance, and risk management under the guidance of the GRC Manager.
- You will oversee the regional establishment and execution of a comprehensive risk management framework within the information security program, ensuring that potential information security threats are effectively identified and monitored.
- Collaborate with the Olympus GRC Manager and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to facilitate risk evaluations (including NIST, ISMS, JSox, ITAR, Security Audits, etc.), providing necessary documentation, artifacts, and insights to IT controls while engaging with business stakeholders during meetings and presentations.
- Keep the GRC tool updated with the latest information on IT risk registers, controls, vulnerabilities, risks, remediation efforts, and reporting metrics.
- Organize and oversee all technology and security-related audits, including defining audit scopes, involved units, timelines, auditing bodies, and outcomes. Offer guidance and support on audit responses.
- Assist the MSP team in collaborating with various regional operational and business units to foster a unified perspective on security risks and ensure timely resolution of outstanding remediation items.
- Conduct internal assessments and evaluations, providing recommendations to the GRC Manager regarding the effectiveness of security controls.
- You should be capable of evaluating the status of complex, multi-location projects and implementing suitable corrective actions to address any issues that arise.
- Manage the Security Education Program and create training materials in alignment with regional policies and regulations.
- Lead the regional information security compliance initiative, ensuring that IT activities, processes, and procedures adhere to established requirements, policies, and regulations.
Ihre Qualifikationen
A Bachelor's degree in business informatics, a technical academic background, or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience.
- Possession of at least one recognized security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, etc.) is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of pertinent work experience is essential.
- A profound understanding of information security principles (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability) is necessary.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, NIST, COBIT, BCM, SOX, and IT Risk Management is expected.
- Strong communication skills paired with well-developed analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) is required.
