Electrical Commissioning Specialist

Your Tasks

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Voith Group.

  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of synchronous and asynchronous generators/motors with nominal voltage higher than 1kV, including auxiliaries and excitation systems.
  • Oversee the commissioning of electrical balance of plant equipment, such as power distribution boards, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Conduct fault finding, optimization, and reporting during commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to quality standards.
  • Hand over equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support from our Heidenheim office.
Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A completed education in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning synchronous and asynchronous generators, electrical machines, switchgear, transformers, excitation, and/or protection systems.
  • Alternatively, a technician-level education with relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written.
  • German and other language skills are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office.
  • Ability to work on worldwide short and long-term business trips and site deployments.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, as well as loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Intercultural experience is an advantage.
