Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing site commissioning of automation and control systems worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute site commissioning of automation and control systems, including Siemens and Rockwell systems.
  • Commission digital turbine governor, vibration monitoring systems, and data acquisition systems.
  • Establish communication and network systems, considering cyber security requirements.
  • Fault find, optimize, and report during commissioning works.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects and meet quality requirements.
  • Handover equipment and provide training to customers.
  • Provide technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.
Requirements
  • Completed education in electrical and information technology engineering or information technology engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning control systems is an advantage.
  • Alternatively, a technician-level education with relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English spoken and written, with German and other languages an advantage.
  • MS-Office skills.
  • Ability to travel worldwide for short and long-term assignments.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, with loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Intercultural experience is an advantage.
