Job Title: Commissioning Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing site commissioning of automation/control systems, digital turbine governor, vibration monitoring systems, and data acquisition systems worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and/or execute site commissioning of automation/control systems, digital turbine governor, vibration monitoring systems, and data acquisition systems worldwide.
  • Establish communication and network systems under consideration of cyber security requirements.
  • Fault finding, optimization, and reporting during commissioning works.
  • Responsibility for meeting time schedules and quality requirements.
  • Handover of equipment and training of customer.
  • Technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completed education in electrical and information technology engineering or information technology engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning of control systems is an advantage.
  • Alternatively, technician level education with relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent English spoken and written. German and further languages knowledge is an advantage.
  • MS-Office skills.
  • Unlimited readiness for worldwide short and long-term business trips and permanent site deployment.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, as well as loyalty and high operational readiness.
  • Intercultural experience is an advantage.
