Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Voith Group. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and/or executing site commissioning of synchronous and asynchronous generators/motors with nominal voltage higher than 1kV, including auxiliaries, excitation systems, and electrical protection.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and/or execution of site commissioning of electrical balance of plant equipment such as power distribution boards, transformers, switchgear, including control and protection devices.
- Fault finding, optimization, and reporting during the commissioning works.
- Responsibility for meeting time schedules and quality requirements.
- Handover of equipment and training of customer.
- Technical project and engineering support at the back office in Heidenheim.
- Completed education (degree) in electrical engineering.
- Experience in commissioning of synchronous and asynchronous generators, electrical machines, switchgear, transformers, excitation, and/or protection systems of advantage.
- Alternatively: Technician level education with relevant professional experience.
- Fluent English spoken and written. German and further languages knowledge of advantage (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, French).
- MS-Office skills.
- Unlimited readiness for worldwide short and long-term business trips and permanent site deployment.
- Result-oriented, analytical, and teamwork capabilities, as well as loyalty and high operational readiness.
- Intercultural experience of advantage.
